I built Echo because I have selective mutism and every AAC app out there gave me a robotic voice that sounded nothing like me. That wasn't good enough. Echo lets you record your own voice, build a personal voice profile, and speak through your own words — whether you're dealing with selective mutism, a speech disability, or anything else that makes your voice hard to use. Not a robot. You.

The name means something

Why Lairy?

LAIRY

The name started as an AI assistant I built during a summer internship. I named it Lairy, after my grandfather Larry. Hidden inside the name is AI, and that wasn't an accident. Eventually the assistant became a company: LAIRY LABS.

Lairy Labs is one person right now. No investors, no office, no team. Just someone from Utah who builds things he actually needs, and believes other people might need them too.

That's what Lairy Labs is: technology built because someone actually needed it.
